Sailing and diving take Cape Cod today, and the kayak can wait. A representative 12-knot NNW breeze, gusting to 18, is already on the water, while the day’s forecast wind runs 2.4 to 11.8 knots and the strongest gust, 19.6 knots, is due at 18:00. Modest 43 percent cloud cover and small seas are what push sailing to the top of the board. Best bet: sail the morning high on that NNW breeze and park the kayak until midweek flattens the water.
